How the fit really feels
Each of the 12 pieces (about 0.62 x 0.76 in / 15.7 x 19.3 mm) has rounded knobs that lock side-to-side once pressed back into the frame. Because it is thin metal there is almost no squeeze, so the pieces press back in loosely and lift straight out. It holds together on a table or in a wallet sleeve; it is not a tight cardboard-jigsaw fit.
Snap pieces out by flexing gently. Corners are rounded; if an edge ever catches, smooth it with a nail file.
